The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of Neuropsychology. Expertise in the specific area of fMRI and PET imaging biomarkers of behavior change is required. Responsibilities include independent and collaborative research on neuroimaging and efficacy of neuroscience-based interventions for behavior change. Experience leading fMRI analysis and technical development of imaging-related technologies is important. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.

At least 5 years of experience (not including post-doctoral fellowship or graduate training) studying neuroimaging in the context of tobacco use is required. Applicants with proven track record of publications and grants (as Principal Investigator) in this area, and with extensive experience fMRI analysis, informatics and technical development, are preferred.
