The Institute for Immunology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of immunology. Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring of graduate students and medical students as an integral component of this position. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree.

The successful applicant would have experience in any area of immunology but preference will be given to those who utilize innovative, state-of-the-art experimental and computational approaches to understand basic and/or translational problems of relevance to human immunology. The successful applicant must have a clear record of productivity and ingenuity during their post-doctoral training and high likelihood of securing extramural funding. The faculty appointment will be within an appropriate basic science or clinical department in the Perelman School of Medicine.
