The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Medicine seeks candidates for several Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Biostatistics. Responsibilities include Clinician Educator track applicants will typically be focused on collaborative research as co-investigators. Applicants with collaborative research interests in women’s health, pediatrics, genomics, cancer, cardiovascular medicine, and pharmaco-epidemiology, as well as data coordinating center expertise are encouraged to apply. Applicants in other areas of research areas will also be considered. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching and must demonstrate outstanding research productivity or promise. Responsibilities include collaborative research as co-investigators and participation in Penn's Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics teaching programs. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in Research and Education. Evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track.
The Graduate Group in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, jointly with the Dept of Statistics in the Wharton School, offers degree programs leading to both the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Science (MS) in Biostatistics.
