The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Biostatistics. Responsibilities include The successful applicant will have methodological and collaborative experience in the field of biostatistics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research. They should also possess a desire to build a career in biostatistics through collaboration, teaching and research. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research and education.

We are seeking candidates with research interests in methods for causal inference, design and analysis of clinical trials, and team-oriented collaborative research. Applicants in other research areas will also be considered.
