Research Assistant Professor Systems Pharmacology and Translational Therapeutics
The Department of Pharmacology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of translational research with a focus on inflammatory cardiovascular disease. Specifically, expertise in the vascular biology of prostaglandins and their role in inflammation and in the contribution of the molecular clock to the evolution of chronic vascular disease. Applicants must have an Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
Position requires a minimum of five years of postdoctoral research experience and expertise in the vascular biology of molecular clocks and prostaglandins. Independent research funding is not required to obtain this position, but obtaining funding once in the position is expected.
