The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Full or Associate Professor positions in either the tenure track or the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, clinical care, and education. The successful candidate must be board certified/eligible in Pediatric Neurology.

The successful candidate will have an academic program plan for pediatric neuromuscular disorders. He/she will be the Section Head of the Neuromuscular Program, for which responsibilities include organizational planning and potential leadership in clinical trials, directorship of the Muscular Dystrophy Association clinic, strategic leadership in new programs for neuromuscular disease care and research, and potential direct involvement in translational or bench research. The successful candidate will participate in the outpatient and in-patient clinical services and have teaching responsibilities for residents and fellows rotating through Child Neurology. Collaborative relationships with the adult neuromuscular program will be facilitated.
