The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of muscle diseases and other neuromuscular disorders. Responsibilities include providing clinical services, teaching or developing a clinical or basic scholarly program. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Candidates must be board eligible/certified in Neurology and have completed fellowship training with emphasis on clinical research, the interpretation of muscle biopsies and electromyography.

In addition to providing neurological care, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in the medical school and graduate teaching activities of the Division.
