The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Neurological Surgery with a focus on Neurotrauma . Responsibilities include a clinical focus on neurotrauma and general neurosurgery at the newly established Trauma Center at Penn Presybyterian Medical Center. The individual will participate in the neurosurgery program at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center which holds substantial research resources in the field of traumatic brain injury. This individual is also expected to lead a research program with the focus in Neurotrauma. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and research. Board Eligible.
