The Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of retinal gene transfer and translational genetics of retinal disorders. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.

Successful candidates will be expected to establish a strong independent research program, have demonstrated substantial accomplishments in biomedical research, and shows promise or success in obtaining external research support. Experience collaborating between academic and non-academic investigators is desirable.
