The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure academic-clinician track or the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include clinical services at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and it's outpatient facilities, on call responsibilities, resident and medical school teaching. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery with a focus on General Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery and Hip Arthroscopy. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. The applicant must be BC/BE.
