The Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant or Associate Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the tenure track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Otology/Neurotolgoy, Head and Neck Oncology, Skull Base Surgery, Rhinology and/or General Otolaryngology. Responsibilities include spending approximately 80% of his/her time in the laboratory or in other academic pursuits and 20% of his/her time in the clinic/OR setting. An emphasis should be placed on translational or clinically focused research and cross departmental research program development. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, clinical care, and education. American Board of Otolaryngology certification or eligibility is desirable.

Qualified candidates should demonstrate the potential for independent funding in basic or translational research.
