The Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Instructor position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery with a focus on clinical care of head and neck patients. Responsibilities include providing interim clinical care support for a new trauma program at Presbyterian Medical Center for the Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery. The goal of this position is to provide advanced training in all aspects of otolaryngology clincial care and prepare the instructor for their first faculty appointment. Teaching experience is also provided through exposure to otolaryngology residents and medical students. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education.
