The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the tenure track or the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care, education, and research. Board certified in pediatrics and/or adult gastroenterology.
This position is for the Clinical Director of the Lustgarten Motility Center.
An endowed chair will be considered for the qualified candidate. Significant interest in candidates who will help augment and lead basic science, translational and/or clinical research initiatives in motility research. Applicants should have evidence of productivity in high impact journals and a funding track record demonstrating leadership and independence. The successful candidate will participate in the research mentorship and clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows.
