The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Track will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Pediatrics with a focus on Infectious Diseases. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, education, and clinical care. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Board Certified/Board eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

Resources for clinical investigation include a NIH-funded Clinical Research Center, a vaccine evaluation program and close ties with investigators in immunology/allergy. Current clinical activities in the Division include an inpatient & outpatient consult service, health care epidemiology & infection prevention and control program. We are seeking applicants interested in clinical care, teaching and
clinical research in pediatric infectious diseases.
