The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the tenure track or the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, education, and clinical care. Board certification in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics is required.

We are seeking an experienced academician to serve as Chief of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Candidates must demonstrate outstanding qualifications as an academic leader and clinician investigator. The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics is nationally recognized for excellence in patient care, research, and education and includes 17 physicians/ faculty, including six PhD psychologists , four nurse practitioners, three social workers, and five fellows in developmental behavioral pediatrics. Notable strengths in the Division include the General Child Development Program, the Center for the Management of ADHD, the Regional Autism Program, the Down Syndrome Program, the fellowship program in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (supported in part by a grant from the Maternal Child Health Bureau), and the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Program (supported by the Maternal Child Health Bureau). The Division has nationally prominent research programs in autism, ADHD, school bullying, and violence in the community and plays a key role in the Autism Treatment Network and the Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Research Network. The successful candidate will have opportunities for major interactions with the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Division of Human Genetics, the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Center for Autism Research, the Center for Applied Genomics, and other relevant groups at CHOP and the University of Pennsylvania and will benefit from resources and a stimulating, collaborative environment within the Department of Pediatrics, throughout CHOP, and across the University of Pennsylvania.
