The Division of Addictions in the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Addiction and applied clinical neuroimaging research with a focus on the role of emotions and emotional regulation in addiction, and neural substrates of comorbidities in veteran populations . Responsibilities include collaborative and independent research on emotional functioning, preparation of research protocols and grants, submission of scholarly publications, and treatments for addiction. The successful applicant must have a record of publication and successful grant applications(s). The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a clinical presence in their area of research. The applicant must have potential to develop a research program capable of attracting external funding. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
Successful candidate must have completed APA-accredited clinical psychology internship, with PA Psychology licensure, and have had three years of post-doctoral experience in addiction and neuroimaging.
