The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Psychiatry . Responsibilities include provision of clinical care in the Department of Psychiaty at Pennsylvania Hospital in the Crisis Response Center and the provision of psychiatric consultations to patients hospitalized on the various services of the general hospital, with appropriate follow-up as indicated on the Consultant Liaison Service. This will include direct care of patients, supervision of the establishment of diagnosis, development and implementation of treatment plans, documentation of treatment services, supervision of all clinical personnel, and teaching of trainees, including medical students, psychiatric residents, and psychology interns. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care. Candiate must be Board Certified.

Candidate will have completed residency training in Psychiatry at an ACGME accredited institution.
