The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Neuropsychology and cognitive and affective neuroscience with a focus on Psychometrics in clinical and experimental neuropsychology and neuroimaging. Responsibilities include support ongoing research at the Center of Neuroimaging in Psychiatry representing the discipline of neuropsychology and cognitive and affective neuroscience related to PTSD, helping develop research that harnesses novel and emerging neuroimaging technologies. Our preference is for someone with a thorough background in the use of psychometrics in clinical and experimental neuropsychology, strong data analysis skills, and demonstrated expertise in functional neuroimaging methodology. The position includes participation in the work done at Penn and access to the neuroimaging acquisition and analysis facilities and staff. A successful candidate would have or be eligible for a psychology license in Pennsylvania, have publications and the ability to obtain peer-reviewed grants. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and research.
