Assistant Professor, Research Track, Pediatric Psychology or Pediatric Neuropsychology
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Responsibilities include assessment of cognitive, neuropsychological, behavioral and academic functioning; diagnostic assessment of mental health disorders; collaboration with a multidisciplinary research team in the inflammatory Brain Program; independent and collaborative research related to the effect of multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating phenotypes on cognition and psychosocial functioning; experise with grant preparation and management; and education of advanced trainees from multiple disciplines. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research. PA license eligible.
Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. from an APA-credited doctoral program and pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral training in research and clinical practice, fulfill criteria for licensure in PA. Candidates must have a strong record of original and collaborative clincal research. In addition, candidates should have a broad knowledge of neuropsychology and strong expertise in the assessment of cogntive, neuropsychological, behavioral, and academic functioning.
