Assistant Professor, Research Track, Pediatric Psychology or Pediatric Neuropsychology
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Clinical or Health Psychology with a focus on pediatric neuropsychology, advance training in research methodology; expertise with children under the age of 18 years; and some experience with adults. Responsibilities include assessment of cognitive, neuropsychological, behavioral, and academic functioning; diagnostic assessment of mental health disorders; collaboration with a multidisciplinary research team in the Inflammatory Brain Program; independent and collaborative research related to the effect of multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating phenotypes on cognition and psychosocial functioning; expertise with grant preparation and management; and education of advanced trainees from multiple disciplines. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
This position is located at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program and pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral training in research and clinical practice, fulfill criteria for licensure in PA. Candidates must have a strong record of original and collaborative clinical research.
