Assistant Professor, Academic Clinician Track, Pediatric Neuropsychology
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Pediatric Neuropsychology with a focus on providing neuropsychological and psychosocial services to children who have experienced a stroke. Responsibilities include screening of patients to determine the need for neuropsychological evaluation, screening of psychosocial concerns, conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, and interdisciplinary collaboration to promote successful school integration. In addition, responsibilities entail program development and evaluation in collaboration with team members in the Pediatric Stroke Program; and the education of trainees in psychology, child psychiatry, neurology, rehabilitation, and other disciplines. Opportunities to engage in collaborative clinical research are also available. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education.
Board certification in clinical neuropsychology is strongly preferred.
