The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder. Responsibilities include clinical care in an interdisciplinary context; teaching of students, residents, and fellows from multiple disciplines; innovative program development; active participation in planning and implementing quality improvement activities; and collaboration in clinical research projects. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education. PA license eligible.

The successful applicant will engage in clinical care, teaching, and collaborative research in the context of an innovative Autism Integrated Initiative. The program reflects a unique collaboration across the divisions of Child Psychiatry, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Pediatric Neurology, and the Center for Autism Research. The successful applicant will be a child and adolescent psychiatrist with expertise in the diagnostic assessment and treatment of children and youth with autism spectrum disorders and comorbid conditions, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the teaching of trainees from multiple disciplines. This position is located at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Applicants must be board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and have outstanding collaborative, clinical, and teaching skills.
