The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a focus on Consultation/Liaison Psychiatry. Responsibilities include cut across administration, clinical, and teaching functions and include development and expansion of inpatient behavioral health services along the care continuum; active participation in planning and implementing quality improvement activities; oversight of professional practice to ensure accordance with professional and regulatory standards as well as federal and state laws; leadership in recruiting professionals for the medical-psychiatry service; supervision and mentoring of early career professionals; expansion of training programs; and collaborator for clinical research projects. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. PA License.

The successful applicant will be a child and adolescent psychiatrist with expertise in consultation/liaison to children and adolescents with medical and psychiatric conditions, multidisciplinary collaboration, strategic planning and program development, and teaching of colleagues and trainees in pediatrics and psychology.

This position is located at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Applicants must be board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and have outstanding leadership, collaborative, administrative, clinical, and teaching skills.
