Assistant Professor, Academic Clinician Track, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in Outpatient Program
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry with a focus on youth with eating disorders and obesity. Responsibilities include diagnostic assessment, pharmacological management, and psychosocial treatment of children and youth with a broad range of mental health disorders; teaching in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Training Program and Psychology Internship program; innovative program development; active participation in planning and implementing quality improvement activities; and collaboration in clinical research projects. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
This position is located at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The successful applicant will be a child and adolescent psychiatrist with expertise in clinical care in an outpatient context, training in interdisciplinary collaboration, and program development. Applicants must be board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry, and have outstanding consultation, clinical teaching, and leadership skills.
