The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Radiology with a focus on Abdominal Imaging. Responsibilities include experience in the field of Abdominal Imaging with multimodality responsibilities that include Computed Tomography, Fluoroscopy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Ultrasound. Strong academic and research interests as well as an ability to participate in and contribute to a high quality teaching program is expected.

The teaching activities include: Daily supervision and read out sessions with residents and abdominal imaging fellows rotating through various sections; supervision and review sessions with residents and fellows related to night and weekend case reviews; teaching and lecturing at assigned Coffee Rounds approximately 6 times annually; lecturing at abdominal imaging fellow summer lecture series at least twice yearly; attendance and teaching at ultrasound follow-up conference monthly, CT case conference monthly, journal club monthly and fetal therapy conference weekly. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care, research, and education. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology certified and have completed an ACGME approved Abdominal Imaging fellowship.
