The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure academic-clinician track or the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. While evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track, research is not required in the academic clinician track. Applicants must be ABIM certified in Internal Medicine and board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases.

The successful applicant will serve as Director of Consultative Cardiology of Penn’s nationally renowned Consultative Cardiology practice which is based at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the Penn Heart and Vascular Center. He or she will be responsible for the daily operations of the HUP Consultative Cardiology faculty practice and will report directly to the Chief of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Medical Director of the Penn Heart and Vascular Center. The successful applicant will perform consultations at the Penn Heart and Vascular Center and Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He or she will also have the opportunity to perform and interpret echocardiograms, nuclear cardiology studies and/or cardiac MRI or CT scans. The successful applicant will teach medical students, medical residents and Cardiology fellows. Experience in consultative cardiology and noninvasive cardiac imaging is required. Administrative and/or senior leadership experience preferred.
