The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. ABIM certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology; BE/BC in Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Applicants must have training and documented skills in transseptal puncture, implantation of biventricular pacemakers/ICDs, and ablation of supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias. Working knowledge of sophisticated EP mapping and recording systems, including intracardiac echo, and ability to perform complex ablation procedures independently are required. Research background in atrial and ventricular tachyarrhythmia mechanisms and mapping techniques is highly desired. Teaching medical students, housestaff and cardiology fellows will be an important part of the responsibilities for this position.
