The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education. B/C in Internal Medicine, BE/BC in Cardiology and BE/BC in Echocardiography is required. Candidates must have training and demonstrated excellence in inpatient and outpatient cardiac consultations and echocardiography. Expertise in noninvasive cardiac imaging including level 3 training in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography is required. Training in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT or MRI preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include interpretation of noninvasive imaging studies, outpatient consultative cardiology, and attending in the coronary care unit and inpatient consultative services. Teaching medical students, housestaff and cardiology fellows will be an important part of the responsibilities of this position. The successful candidate will be based at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
