The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education. Experience in Infectious Diseases, Global Health and/or advanced training Public Health (e.g., MPH) is desirable. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases.
The candidate will serve as Director of the Global Health Track for the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program of the Department of Medicine, helping to organize a curriculum for training in global health through course work and clinical experiences in Philadelphia and internationally. The candidate will attend on the inpatient Infectious Diseases service 8 weeks annually and conduct an outpatient Infectious Diseases clinic one-half day per week.
