The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, education, and clinical care. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases is required for this position.
We seek individuals with a strong background in research focused on HIV pathogenesis and transmission. Independent funding is desirable although initially not expected. Teaching and mentoring of medical students and fellows will be an integral component of the position.
