Translational Physician Scientist, Assistant Professor Clinician-Educator
The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care, education, and research. Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
The Department of Medicine is looking to recruit translational scientists to the Interventional Pulmonary Section within the Pulmonary and Critical Care Division. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in scientific methodology and have a focus in the areas of adoptive immunotherapy and tumor biology. Successful candidates will be expected to obtain extramural funding and generate high quality data for publication and future clinical/translational research projects; attend on the inpatient Interventional Pulmonary consultation service; and teach at the medical student, resident and fellowship levels.
