Before a PhD student can graduate, it is necessary to complete the Survey of Doctoral Student Opinion and the Survey of Earned Doctorates Dr. Lopez will discuss the surveys, what’s been learned from them over the years and how the data is shared and used. She will also say a few words about careers in institutional research.
