This program is part of the 25th Academic Career Conference (ACC). You can find a list of the full of ACC programs by viewing our calendar page.
A panel of faculty members will talk about their own experiences both on the academic job market and as members of search committees, and provide advice on how to prepare as you submit your application materials, get ready for interviews, and interact with search committees during your academic job search process. Hearing advice from faculty can help provide some clear perspectives on how best to navigate the ups and downs of the academic job market. Join us for this discussion to get some of your questions answered in the Q&A session, and you’ll be practicing your academic networking skills while you are at it. Whether you are currently looking for academic positions right now, or think that you will be in the next 1-2 years, this discussions will give you important insight.
