Applying for and being offered a tenure-track position is one of the common goals of the academic job search. But do you know how the actual tenure process works? Should you be thinking about the tenure process when you are applying to different types of institutions? And when you are offered a tenure-track position, what role should the tenure process play in your negotiations? Are you unsure about whether the tenure clock can be stopped, and for what reasons? If you have questions about any aspect of tenure as it relates to your academic job search, then bring your questions to this program.
