The "Healthy Cities: Healthy Women" conference series comes home to the Penn campus following stops in Miami, New York City, Los Angeles, London and Washington, D.C. The symposium will feature experts, practitioners and activist speaking on issues affecting the health of women living in cities worldwide such as trafficking, interpersonal violence, access to healthcare and the physical barriers of city spaces. The final speaker of the Healthy Cities: Healthy Women: The Global Future conference will be the inaugural winner of the Penn Nursing Renfield Foundation Award for Global Women's Health. The Renfield Award recognizes demonstrated leaders whose work has had significant impact on improving the lives and health of women. The event will open with a buffet lunch at 11:00am with programing beginning at 11:45am.
