About the CNES

Brain related disorders, coupled with complex behavioral change, pose diagnostic and treatment challenges for even the most experienced phyisicians.

Brain related disorders - brain injury, stroke, tumors, and epilepsy - are serious. When coupled with related difficulties such as depression, mood instability, difficulties with temper and impulse, and attentional and memory problems, patients confront a confusing reality and clinicians face complex challenges in diagnosis and treatment.

The clinicians at the Comprehensive Neuropsychiatry Evaluation Service (CNES) at the University of Pennsylvania Health System expertly diagnose and treat complex behavioral changes associated with brain related disorders. We understand what patients are experiencing, the medical conditions they face, and we know how to evaluate and treat behavioral symptoms and the underlying disorder to relieve discomfort and help better manage the disease.
