DAY2
Functional Neuroimaging of Reward and Motivation Deficits in Schizophrenia (DAY2)
This is a two-day study with intake on day one and imaging taking place on day two. Patients will be asked to complete several scales and questionnaires on intake and will complete behavioral testing on day two both in and out of the scanner. Each day will last between 4-6 hours. The overall goal of the study is to relate neural activity in reward-motivation circuits to specific negative symptoms of schizophrenia. Patients will be compensated $45 per day plus up to an additional $50 in bonuses for tasks completed on day two.
