The Schizophrenia Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center (Neuropsychiatry Section) is looking for families to help us learn more about the genetic basis of schizophrenia by participating in research studies. We will NOT ask you to change medications or any part of your treatment. We will ask you about your history and have you perform various tasks designed to measure how your brain processes information (for example, how you remember words and faces or how you recognize facial expressions). We are interested in families with at least one individual with a diagnosis of schizophrenia.

Our site is located in Philadelphia, where most of our studies take place. In some cases, we can travel to your home outside our area or refer you to another site closer to you.
