Amy Cassidy, BS
Following graduate school Amy spent 13 years working in behavioral science research as a grants manager within the reproductive health, STD/HIV prevention, and mental health and psychosocial rehabilitation fields.
Amy joined the BBL in 2009 and supervises BBL coordinators in the recruitment and data collection aspects of research project implementation. Amy currently oversees the Brain-Behavior and Genetic Studies of the 22q11DS and was Project Manager for the Neurodevelopmental Genomics (GO-2) and Family-Based Genome-Wide Methylation Scan in Neurocognition and Schizophrenia projects. Within the BBL’s Clinical Core Amy is responsible for Regulatory and Human Subject IRB submission of protocols; maintaining collaborative relationships with community providers; and facilitates quality assurance for data management.
