Resources for RCR Training

  • Responsible Conduct of Biomedical Research: A Handbook for Biomedical Graduate Studies Students

This is the primary resource for the RCR workshops in Years 2–4.

This link provides student-specific access to on-line training in select topics through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI). This training serves as a resource for the RCR workshops in Years 2–4.

These modules cover all RCR topics. Each module covers a single topic and is divided into five sections: preface, background, policies and guidelines, case studies, and comments/resources. Access requires a PennKey.

  • Textbooks

The above resources provide or link to a considerable number of others. Students and faculty may be interested additionally in two textbooks for which electronic links are provided through the Biomedical Library. These textbooks provide extensive discussion of each of the RCR topics.
