Certificate ProgramsStudents enrolling in BGS doctoral programs have the option of applying to certificate programs in medicine and public health. The programs offer intensive supplemental training provided by expert practitioners and researchers in these fields. Participants are expected to complete the certificate program and doctoral program requirements concurrently.Students apply for admission to a certificate program at the time of their doctoral application. Applicants to either certificate program should devote 1-2 paragraphs of their personal statement to explaining their interest in receiving this additional training.
