April 8, 2013 - Rally to save Medical Research
On Monday, April 8th there will be a "Rally to save Medical Research" that is being organized by the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) and will have 80 organizations in attendance. The Rally will be from 11-12:30pm at Mt. Vernon Square in DC. As the Senate is considering a funding bill that will at least partially restore some money for the NIH, there is some hope that the NIH will salvage some funding from the sequester.
If you are interested in participating in the event, please contact Shaun O'Brien (BGS Student)
You can find more information about the rally here: http://rallyformedicalresearch.org
