Biomedical Graduate Studies offers courses through its various graduate groups. Each group has its own required, recommended, and elective courses, but in general students are free to take courses sponsored by groups other than their own. The University Registrar provides descriptions of all Penn courses. Course offerings for current and previous semesters in Biomedical Graduate Studies are provided in list and schedule formats. *Important Note: While BGS generally schedules courses according to the University schedule, it is important to note that not all BGS courses observe the University fall and spring breaks, reading days or exam days, or the semester start and end dates.
