Executive Board

Descriptions of Positions

Chair: Leads the General Assembly, represents BGSA to the University administration, and is responsible for guiding BGSA.

Vice-Chair of Administrative Affairs: Works with the Chair to represent BGSA to the University, and serves as acting Chair if the Chair is absent.

Vice Chair of Academic Affairs: Develops programming and establishes goals to enhance the academic environment for BGS students, and serves as a liaison between students and faculty.

Vice-Chair of Social Affairs: Develops programming and establishes goals to enhance the social environment for BGS students, and also ensures that BGSA is represented during recruitment and Orientation events.

Treasurer: Oversees the BGSA budget and expenses.

Secretary: Records the minutes of all meetings and reports announcements to BGS students, and is responsible for event logistics and organization.

GAPSA representatives: Advocate for and represent BGSA and its concerns at GAPSA meetings, and make regular reports to BGSA on GAPSA events and issues.
