Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC)

ITC is a quantitative technique that can determine the thermodynamic parameters of interactions in solution.  The most common application is the study of the binding of small molecules to larger macromolecular target, although it can also be employed to study other macromolecular interactions. The technique requires samples of the highest purity, as validated by other complementary measures.

  • The MicroCal ITC200 Microcalorimeter includes temperature control, 200 µL sample cell and 40 µL injection syringe.
