NMR Spectroscopy

The NMR spectroscopy lab is an advanced collaborative resource that is not only equipped with state-of-the-art NMR spectrometers but is also augmented with capabilities not found elsewhere in world. In addition to standard capabilities in structural characterization the lab is particularly well setup for characterization of macromolecular dynamics utilizing 15N, 13C and 2H relaxation methodologies. Extensive in-house consultation is also available for production of appropriately isotopically labeled proteins.

  • Bruker Avance III 500 MHz NMR spectrometer is a three-channel instrument equipped with triple resonance gradient cryogenic probes capable of most multidimensional NMR experiments. A comprehensive pulse sequence library for both conventional and non-uniform sampling has been established.
