Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics and

The Graduate Group in Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics

The Dr. George W. Raiziss Retreat, sponsored by the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics (B&B) and the Graduate Group in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics (BMB), will be held on November 9-10, 2017 at the Skytop Lodge in the Pocono Mountains.

This retreat is an opportunity to learn about the scientific work that is going on in the Department and the Graduate Group through lectures and poster presentations. The Skytop Lodge offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for recreation, which will further promote interactions with fellow students, faculty, and research staff. Note that the science program will start at 11:00 a.m. on the 9th and conclude at 2:00 p.m. on the 10th.

Come and enjoy the science, the people, and the beautiful surroundings of the Poconos! We are excited for this opportunity to enhance connections among the biochemical and biophysical community at Penn.

Registration deadline: September 28, 2017
