Our
group's research focuses three areas: 1) cancer detection: angiogenesis,
hypermetabolism and molecular beacons; 2) cognitive imaging: metabolic responses,
hemodynamic response measured by NIR imaging; and 3) muscle function: oxygenation,
blood volume in exercise; olympic athletes, geriatrics, and mitochondrial
and vascular diseases.
