Erin coordinates studies in the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program focusing on insomnia and is the course administrator for the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia Seminar. Before coming to Penn, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy where she was VP of Nursing Students Without Borders, leading a group of students on an alternative medicine education meeting with Native American medicine men and practitioners of ancient oriental medicine. She received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Central Florida where she was the teaching assistant for the Psychobiological aspects of drugs and alcohol course and researched how expectancies can affect subjective experiences, use and abuse in the Substance Use Research Group. She previously worked as a research assistant for the Mental Control lab at Harvard, exploring apparent mental causation and mind perception. She is currently finishing her masters in psychology and volunteers as co-editor of Operants for the B.F. Skinner Foundation.
