How to Apply for the BTG Clinical Program

Eligibility

Space is limited. Interested students are advised to start the application process as early as possible in their professional training.

Students can contact their academic institution’s BTG Clinical Program Coordinator or e-mail Ellen Martinak (martinak@mail.med.upenn.edu), BTG Clinical Liaison, for more information about the Clinical Program and availability and eligibility requirements for the clinical sites.

Note to Applicants: Your home school is responsible for providing professional liability insurance as well as ensuring that you have adequate health insurance.

Application Guidelines

  • Interested students consult with their academic institution’s BTG Clinical Program Coordinator or contact the BTG CP Liaison (see below). If it is determined that the student meets the eligibility criteria, he/she will receive a BTG Clinical Elective application form.

  • The student returns the completed application form to the BTG CP Liaison indicating his/her clinical site preference. The application form must be signed by the student’s academic supervisor and the registrar.

  • Once the BTG CP Liaison receives the completed form, the student is notified of the interviewing and acceptance process for his/her selected clinical site.
